HeyyGirl Foundation Shows Up for the 2026 Park Forest Youth Day
There’s something special about seeing a community come together for its young people.
HeyyGirl Foundation was honored to participate in the 2026 Park Forest Youth Day, joining community members and organizations for a day dedicated to supporting and encouraging local youth as they prepared for the new school year.
Through the generosity of our supporters and partners, HeyyGirl Foundation was able to provide hygiene kits, socks for children and youth, and piggy banks designed to encourage financial literacy.
For HeyyGirl, the piggy banks represented something especially meaningful. Introducing young people to financial concepts can start with something as simple as learning the value of saving. Those early lessons can become the foundation for healthier financial habits and greater confidence in the future.
The day also gave us another opportunity to connect directly with young people and families in the community. Events like Park Forest Youth Day remind us why showing up matters. Supporting girls and young people isn't only about preparing them for what's ahead—it's also about making sure they know there are people and organizations invested in seeing them succeed.
We are grateful to everyone whose generosity helped make our participation possible and to the Park Forest community for an incredible day.
